Toffee is a delightful 9-month-old, 40 lb mixed breed, with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul. We believe she might be a Vizsla mix. Toffee is a happy, playful, and affectionate girl who loves to romp with other dogs, play hard, and then settle in for some cozy cuddle time. She's dog and cat friendly, house and crate trained, and truly thrives in a home environment where she feels safe and operates on a predictable routine. Like many sensitive pups, Toffee was initially a bit timid in new environments, but with patience and encouragement, she's made incredible progress and is learning to embrace the adventures the outside world offers.
Ideal Home
Toffee would be happiest in a home with a confident, well-adjusted adult dog to show her the ropes. She needs a patient and understanding family that will continue to build her confidence. A home with children aged 10+ who are dog-savvy would be ideal, and she would do best without infants or toddlers. She is uncomfortable around small dogs and puppies, so a home without them is preferred.
Ongoing Health
Toffee did experience car sickness and drooling during travel, but with desensitization work, she now willingly enters the car and quickly recovers upon arrival.
Training & Support
Toffee is house and crate trained. While she's gaining confidence in new situations, continued patience and encouragement will be key to her ongoing development. She's learning to love car rides, and while she may still drool a bit, it's a sign of progress!
