Lucia

Lucia is a beautiful 1-year-old, 22-pound sheepdog mix with a gentle spirit and so much love to give. She was found in Mexico alongside her brother by a kind couple who made sure she got the chance at a better life. Because of her past, Lucia can be a little shy at first—but it’s clear she wants to trust, and with a bit of patience and kindness, her sweet personality starts to shine through. At just a year old, Lucia is still very young and adaptable. She’s learning that the world can be a safe and loving place, and she’s already making progress every day. Once she feels comfortable, she’s sure to blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion who will bond deeply with her person.

Ideal Home

Lucia would do wonderfully in a calm home that can give her the time and reassurance she needs to fully come out of her shell. She has interacted positively with dogs and children under 8.

Ongoing Health

Lucia is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Lucia is house-trained. She can be a little shy at first and may need some patience as she adjusts to her new environment.
