Rosie is an 8-year-old English Bulldog who has blossomed beautifully since arriving in our care. As she's grown more comfortable, her charming personality has truly begun to shine. She's mastered the routine in her foster home, patiently waiting by the door when she needs to go outside, sometimes accompanying her request with a few polite little bulldog toots just to make sure you notice!
Rosie is a sweet girl who absolutely adores attention and affection. She loves being close to her people and has a delightful way of letting you know when she'd like some love. She is wonderfully friendly with humans and does well with children, having never shown aggression towards people. She's also surprisingly fond of cats and has even formed a special friendship with the orange kitty in her foster home – they even play together, which is quite adorable to witness!
Like many bulldogs, Rosie is very food motivated and takes snacks very seriously. Because of this, she requires supervision around other dogs when food or treats are involved. Rosie can be a bit of a bully towards other dogs if she perceives competition, especially around food or toys. She enjoys playing with toys but prefers not to share them and likes to be the boss of her space. For this reason, Rosie would do best as the only dog in the home, or with a very confident canine companion and careful management.
Overall, Rosie is a loving, funny, and loyal bulldog who simply desires a home where she can relax, play with her toys, and receive plenty of affection. She's seeking a family that appreciates her big personality and will be happy to let her reign as the queen of her castle. If you're looking for a sweet, quirky companion with a heart full of love to give, Rosie might just be the one for you!
