Hachi

Meet Hachi! This sweet 2-year-old, 50 lb bundle of love has a heart of gold and a story of resilience. Hachi spent most of his life in an outdoor kennel, never knowing what it was like to be truly loved. Despite his past, he's a total love bug who greets life with a wagging tail and a gentle spirit. He adores his humans, is wonderful with kids, and wants to be friends with everyone he meets. Things like belly rubs, a cozy bed, and quality time with family are things Hachi truly treasures. He's crate trained, potty trained, and ready to settle into a home of his own. Hachi is a medium-energy guy who enjoys adventures but is just as happy to relax by your side.

Ideal Home

Hachi is looking for a home where he's included, cherished, and loved. He does best with slow introductions to other dogs and tends to do better with confident pups.

Ongoing Health

Hachi is still working on gaining weight after being underfed for years. His ideal weight is closer to 60 lbs.

Training & Support

Hachi is crate trained and potty trained. He can sometimes try to play the "big tough guy" with more timid dogs.
