Pepper

Meet Pepper! This sweet girl is around 2 years old and weighs 40 pounds. Pepper walks nicely on a leash, enjoying all the sights and smells without any pulling. She's a friendly pup who is great with new people, other dogs, and children. Pepper seems to be house-trained and is happy to sleep on a comfy blanket. While she enjoys company, she prefers not to be left alone for extended periods and would love to be with her person. She gets along with the resident dog but also cherishes her alone time. Pepper is curious about cats and will bark if they are around but doesn't try to approach them. She loves to play fetch and is a smart, trainable dog who is eager to bond with her own special human. Pepper has a minor old leg injury that doesn't seem to bother her; she runs and plays like any other dog. She's not much of a barker but might let out a little howl if she can't find you. Pepper is looking for a devoted one-on-one relationship with her forever family.

Ideal Home

Pepper would love a home where she can bond closely with her person. She doesn't like being left alone for long periods.

Pepper has a minor old leg injury that does not appear to cause her any discomfort and she functions normally.

Training & Support

Pepper is smart and very trainable. She may occasionally howl if she cannot find you, but otherwise is not a barker.
