Gemma was found in La Cruz with a severe TVT tumor, but she fought bravely and is now cancer-free, with only a small scar to show for her strength. She's a moderately active girl who enjoys leisurely strolls and basking in the sun. Gemma gets along well with other dogs, often taking the lead with her confident demeanor, and she lives peacefully with both male and female canine companions. She's a sweet, steady dog who offers quiet affection and deserves all the comfort and love in the world.

Gemma thrives in a home where she can feel secure and loved. She gets along with most dogs and lives peacefully with male and female dogs daily.

Ongoing Health

Gemma is cancer-free. She will require a simple cytology swab every 6 months for 2 years. TVT rarely returns, and many survivors go on to live long, happy lives.

Training & Support

Gemma is a confident dog who generally gets along well with other dogs.

• Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.

Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We can arrange transportation to the US and Canada. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
