Butters

Meet Butters! This handsome 1-year, 6-month-old, 60-99 lb gentleman is a Boxer/Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart of gold and a face that melts even the toughest of exteriors. Butters is a total lovebug who believes he's a lap dog and will happily try to prove it by snuggling up to you whenever possible. He's affectionate, people-focused, and thrives on attention, bringing "angel baby" energy with a side of goofy charm to every interaction. He also walks well on a leash! Butters was rescued in Oklahoma and brought to us by dedicated volunteers, showing just how special he is.

Ideal Home

Butters would love a home where he can receive plenty of attention and be a central part of the family. A patient adopter who understands the stress of shelter life and is willing to give him time to decompress will help him shine. He'd be a great fit for a home with older kids.

Butters is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

While Butters can be a bit reactive in the noisy shelter environment, this is understandable given the stress. Outside of the shelter, he's focused on love and cuddles. With patience, structure, and a calmer setting, he's expected to settle in beautifully.
