Meet Leo, our sweet 1-year-old, 57lb Red Heeler mix with a heart as big as his ears! This handsome pup may be deaf, but he doesn’t let that slow him down one bit. Leo is full of love, energy, and personality, and is a playful companion who adores fetch, tug-of-war, and chewing on bones. He’s incredibly affectionate, friendly with other dogs and strangers, and has a special love for horses – he’s been great around them in his current foster home. Leo enjoys car rides, is a champ during bath time, and walks well on a leash, though he might get a little excited and pull now and then. Could this special boy be your perfect match?

Ideal Home

Leo may be best suited for families with older kids, but he’s gentle enough that he’d likely get along great with children overall. He’s looking for a loving home that understands his unique needs.
