Ongoing Health

James is up-to-date on vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, and is heartworm negative (age appropriate). He receives monthly flea and tick preventative, monthly heartworm preventative (age appropriate), and is regularly dewormed. James is also microchipped.

Training & Support

James is a smart boy and with consistent training and positive reinforcement, he will surely be a well-behaved member of the family.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• A home visit and vet reference are required.
• We do not do same-day adoptions.
• If you live in a rental property, a copy of your lease stating pets are allowed is required.
• If you have had a pet within the last two years, please provide the vet you used as your reference, including the name the reference is under.
• If you have never owned a pet or it has been over two years, a personal reference is needed instead of a vet reference.

James is located at our rescue center at 34 County Road 2266, Brundidge, AL 36010. We are not open to the public without an appointment.
