Tashi

Meet Tashi, a sweet 5-year-old, 14lb Shih Tzu who is ready to find her forever home! Tashi means "good fortune" in Tibetan, and her future family will be incredibly lucky to have this affectionate and loyal girl. She's looking for a quiet home where she can become her human's best friend.

Tashi can be a bit shy at first and needs a few days to warm up to new people. A patient adopter who is willing to earn her trust is essential. Once she feels comfortable, her true, loving personality shines through! She enjoys treats, sleeps soundly in her crate at night, and is an excellent car rider, enjoying the sights from the window. Tashi is also potty trained and has learned to trust her foster mom with grooming.

Ideal Home

Tashi would thrive in a calm environment with patient adopters. She prefers a home without children under 12 years old.

Training & Support

Tashi is potty trained and does well on leash. She has also learned to enjoy grooming sessions. Her foster family has worked hard on her socialization with people and animals, and it's important that her forever home continues to help her feel confident and understand the world can be a kind and loving place. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, and her confidence has grown with the help of her more outgoing foster siblings. She would be happy with another dog but is also content as an only pet.
