Sissy

Sissy is a sweet and loving girl who was rescued from a shelter in southern Illinois. She's about 55-60lbs and is a fantastic companion. Sissy is a snuggly couch potato who also loves to be your walking/running buddy, tug-of-war partner, and she'll even alert you to any small critters in the yard or potential intruders. She's a quick learner and eager to please.

Ideal Home

Sissy would thrive in a home with children who outweigh her, as she can be a bit of a rough-and-tumble player. While she's not intentionally rough, she loves to chase and play keep away. A home where she can have plenty of space to play and burn energy would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Sissy is currently scheduled to be spayed.

Training & Support

Sissy has a strong prey drive but is a quick learner and has been improving. Due to her size and strength, and her foster mom's medical condition, Sissy needs a home that can manage her enthusiasm for play. It's important to note that her foster mom's EDS has worsened, making it difficult for her to manage Sissy's strength and play style. This is not Sissy's fault; she's a wonderful dog who deserves the best.
