Approved applicants will begin with a 3-week foster-to-adopt trial period to help ensure the transition is a great fit for both Herman and his new family. This gives everyone time to settle in, build a bond, and let Herman show off just how wonderful he truly is!

If things are going well after the trial period, the adoption can then be finalized.

Meet Herman!

Herman is a happy, playful boy full of energy and curiosity. Always on the move, he loves exploring, going for walks, and learning about the world around him.
He may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and soon becomes your loyal shadow. Once he feels comfortable, he loves being close to his person.

Herman enjoys playing with other dogs and would benefit from having a canine buddy to help build his confidence and share in the fun. 

He’s learning quickly and continues to make great progress. Herman is still figuring things out, but he’s eager to learn and responds well to guidance and routine. He’s also working on crate training and learning what’s his to chew—he’s a smart boy who just needs direction.

Herman would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can run and play, and one that can offer him structure, patience, and lots of love. A home without cats would be best.

With his sweet nature, playful spirit, and willingness to learn, Herman has so much potential to grow into an amazing, loyal companion. 🐾💛
