Bear

Meet Bear! This handsome brindle Boxer mix was born around February 10, 2021, and weighs about 60 lbs. He's a young dog full of energy and affection, always eager for attention. Bear isn't a big chewer, but he does have a curious palate and has been known to taste rocks, sticks, and toys, so his new family will need to supervise him closely to keep him safe from non-edible temptations. He's a people-loving pup who thrives in a secure, fenced yard where he can run and play. Because he can get a little carried away with his enthusiasm, dog parks and daycare aren't the best fit for Bear. He's happiest as an only dog, where he can receive all the love and attention.

Ideal Home

Bear would do best in a home with adults or families with children over 12. He would benefit from a family with experience with large, energetic dogs who can provide ongoing training and structure in a safe environment free of tempting chewables.

Ongoing Health

Bear is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and on year-round preventative.

Training & Support

Bear's new family should be prepared for ongoing training and structure to help him grow into his best self. This will also be a wonderful bonding experience.
