Shadow (20260630-05)

Shadow is a delightful 7-year-old, 71-80 lb Lab mix who came to us through a twist of fate. She, along with two other dogs, was left without a rescue after a transport, but thankfully, we were able to step in and give them a safe haven. Shadow's past was a bit uncertain; she was given away by her original owner and spent some time outdoors before finding her way to safety. Despite these challenges, Shadow is incredibly resilient and ready to leave her past behind for a loving forever home. She's a gentle and friendly girl who enjoys being with people. We're still getting to know her, but so far, she's been friendly with everyone she's met and is crate-trained, which has helped her adjust. With a little patience and love, Shadow is sure to continue blossoming.

Ideal Home

Shadow would thrive in a home with a yard. She cannot live in an apartment. While she has shown to be good with other dogs, she should not be placed with small dogs. She has had no known exposure to cats.

Ongoing Health

Shadow has not yet been spayed or neutered.

Training & Support

Shadow is crate trained. We are still learning about her house-training status. As with any newly adopted dog, she is considered a flight risk and will require patience and consistency to help her settle in.
