Asuma is a sweet, affectionate boy whose favorite place in the world is right next to his people. If you sit down, don't be surprised when he comes over to gently rest his head in your lap and ask for some belly rubs, one of his favorite things!
This handsome guy thrives on companionship and loves being part of whatever you're doing. While he doesn't enjoy being left alone, he's making great progress and is getting much better about settling down without excessive whining. Asuma has moderate energy and benefits from walks, play sessions, and games like fetch, which he loves!
Asuma has done well with his foster dog and may enjoy living with another canine companion, provided introductions are slow and thoughtful. He has not yet met children, but he may do well with them. However, due to his high prey drive, Asuma cannot live in a home with cats.

Training & Support
Asuma is still working on his potty training. All dogs adopted from Better World Rescue come with complimentary group or private training to help ensure a successful adoption.
