Andy

Andy is, by all accounts, a complete sweetheart! This gentle boy was rescued from a puppy mill by our partners, Cocker Friends Korea. He's been undergoing treatment for a yeast/fungal infection all over his body and feet, dry eye syndrome, chronic ear infections, and anemia. Nothing will make this little guy happier than to settle into his new furever home. He is incredibly sweet, calm, affectionate, and trusting, with almost no stranger danger. Among Cockers, Andy may be one of the gentlest you'll ever meet!

Ideal Home

Andy needs patient adopters who understand that potty training may be a very long learning curve. He is an extreme flight risk, so a home with no children is safer to ensure entrances and exits are 100% controlled by adults. He would also benefit from a home with another confident dog to help show him the way.

Ongoing Health

Andy is being treated for a yeast/fungal infection, dry eye syndrome, chronic ear infections, and anemia.

Training & Support

Force-free training is the only way to go; these dogs are already so fearful, and they need kindness, not a dominant alpha approach. He walks well on leash, typically for 40-50 minutes before starting to refuse to continue. He whines a little when left alone but settles down quickly and sleeps calmly, showing no signs of separation anxiety so far.
