Ritchey Roo, affectionately known as Richard, is an exuberant, jubilant, and surprisingly laid-back companion who was truly made to be man's best friend. He is all about people and seems to prefer a solo life when it comes to other dogs. Richard is a happy boy who loves to lounge around, whether inside or out, and thrives on affection. He's a great pup to have around, ideally with access to a fenced yard, and is house-trained. He's also content to relax on his own when you're away.
Richard can switch from being a quiet couch potato to being a consistently energetic and jubilant pup in an instant. When you grab his leash or walk through the door, watch out – he goes from zero to ten! He can be incredibly gentle, but also a bit overwhelming with his jumping and excitement, especially when food or a leash is involved. Ritchey can be vocal, but he only "speaks" when he has something to say, and it's often quite humorous. He is estimated to be about 5-6 years old. He arrived underweight but has since gained to 90 lbs. He could now benefit from a diet and/or increased physical activity.
Ideal Home
A home where he can be the only spoiled pup, with access to a fenced yard. He would love a human to share his space with and isn't afraid of his jubilant expressions of life.

Ritchey has no known health conditions.
Training & Support
Ritchey has learned the command "OVER" to give his human more space in bed. He requires some serious leash training as he is a hard puller. He is not particularly interested in toys or playing fetch.
