Jarvis

Jarvis is a wonderful German Shepherd who was rescued by Trina & Friends from Carson Shelter in California. We don't know much about his past, but when he arrived at his foster home in Tannersville, NY, he was terrified. He would charge at the crate, making it clear he was operating from a place of fear and survival. He couldn't be leashed and was extremely shut down. Thankfully, his incredible foster, Alexandra, gave Jarvis the time, patience, and understanding he needed. She didn't force interactions or rush the process, and it took weeks before she could comfortably get a leash on him. Through consistency, patience, and compassion, she allowed Jarvis to move at his own pace. Today, Jarvis is a completely different dog. He seeks affection, enjoys being petted, and has discovered the joy of playing with toys. The dog who once charged at his crate out of fear is now learning what it means to feel safe and loved.

Jarvis has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Jarvis has made incredible progress with his decompression and building trust. Continued patience and positive reinforcement will help him thrive.
