Meet Poppy, a delightful 3-year-old, 47 lb brindle girl with the most expressive ears and a heart full of love! Poppy's journey started a little rough; she was found wandering the streets of Houston, Texas, and ended up at an overcrowded shelter. Thankfully, a loving foster family stepped in and gave her a second chance. Now, after over a year of waiting, Poppy is dreaming of her forever home. She adores people, greeting everyone with a wagging tail, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Poppy is comfortable in an apartment setting, rests calmly when her foster dad is away, and is a well-behaved housemate, with no chewing or destructive tendencies. She's an active pup who loves her walks and trips to the dog park, where she plays fetch and enjoys running with her furry friends. Poppy also travels like a pro in the car! While she's done well with children, her energetic spirit suggests she'd thrive best in a home with older kids, around 12 and up. Poppy offers a perfect blend of playful fun and sweet affection, ready to begin her happy next chapter.

Poppy is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccines, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention. She will come with a health certificate prior to transport.

Poppy is house-trained and does not exhibit chewing or destructive behaviors. She enjoys staying active and socializing at the dog park.
