Ellie

Ellie is a sweet and resilient approximately 2-year-old Heeler mix who is ready to find her forever home. She unfortunately had to have one of her back legs amputated due to an old injury, but she has adapted wonderfully and navigates the world with confidence on three legs. Ellie is a quiet girl in her kennel, walks beautifully on a leash, and is completely house-trained. She is very affectionate with all humans and would likely do well in a home with other dogs. We haven't had the chance to see how she interacts with cats yet, so that remains a bit of a mystery!

Ongoing Health

Ellie's leg amputation was a result of an old injury, and she has recovered beautifully. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Ellie is already house-trained and walks well on a leash. Her positive temperament and adaptability mean she's likely to pick up new routines and commands quickly with positive reinforcement.
