Meet Lucas! This handsome Anatolian Shepherd mix is about 2-3 years young and ready to leave his past behind. Lucas and a couple of other dogs were found living in neglectful conditions on a rural property, exposed to the elements and unwelcome critters. Despite a rough start, Lucas has proven to be the sweetest, most loving boy! He absolutely adores other dogs, laps up attention, and is eager to learn his household manners. He's a happy, smart pup who's dreaming of a loving family to call his own and promises to make the rest of his life the best of his life.

Ideal Home

Lucas would love a home where he can continue to receive attention and build his confidence. He gets along well with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Lucas is neutered and vaccinated. He has no known special health needs at this time.

Training & Support

Lucas is still working on his household manners and is not yet house-trained. Consistency and positive reinforcement will be key to his continued success.

Transportation

Lucas is located in a foster home in Howell, NJ. We provide transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new companion. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
