Ongoing Health

Bitsy is up to date on all vetting, has had DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also had a heartworm test.

Training & Support

Assessments with trainers on staff are done, and behavior is modified as needed. Individualized behavior plans are created to help prepare dogs for their future families, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking. Fosters are able to attend group training and socialization playgroups to help them stay confident, well-rounded, and adoption-ready.

Transporation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and a private Facebook event page. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
