Honey Comb is a sweet, affectionate, and silly 6-year-old terrier mix who weighs 68 lbs. She's a perfect blend of playful energy and cuddlebug, always happy to be by your side. Honey Comb loves to be touched, whether it's resting her head on your lap or nuzzling into your neck. She's also independent and can entertain herself, making her an excellent work-from-home companion. When it's time to play, she's ready for zoomies, neighborhood walks, car rides, and puzzle toys. Honey Comb adores meeting new people, including children, and her signature "stop, drop, and roll" is her way of asking for belly rubs. She has excellent manners, is smart, and quickly learns routines. She's respectful of food and a joy to live with. Honey Comb is looking for a forever family to share her affectionate heart, sweet personality, and loyal companionship.
Ideal Home
Honey Comb would thrive in a home where she can spend plenty of quality time with her people. She needs a fenced-in backyard for playing fetch and sunbathing. A quieter suburban or rural area would be ideal, as she loves nature trails and hikes. She would be happiest as the only pet in the home to receive all the love and attention. A home with children aged 4 and up is recommended. She has not been tested with cats, so a feline-free home is preferred.
Ongoing Health
Honey Comb is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and has been spayed. She is microchipped and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She has received a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian and any necessary vet care while in our care.
Training & Support
Honey Comb is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. She has excellent manners and is not destructive. She will communicate when she needs to go outside by tap dancing by the door.

Transporation
Honey Comb is currently in a foster home in Austin, TX. She can be adopted and transported to various locations; please check www.loveandpuppypawsdogrescue.com/transport-locations for more information. Adoptive families will need to meet the transport to pick up their new family member. Dogs are adopted prior to transport and cannot be brought for meet-and-greets due to transport distance.
