Introducing Juno!
Juno's story began at one of Houston's highest-kill shelters. When he hit the euthanasia list, some shelter volunteers rushed to meet him, and one thing was immediately clear: Juno is the cutest, fluffiest teddy bear we've ever seen.
Juno is not your average Aussie; he is super chill. He enjoys getting outside for walks, exploring new places, and spending time with his people, but he's just as happy lounging around the house chomping on a bully stick or rolling around with a toy in his mouth. Whether you're heading out for a neighborhood stroll or settling in for a movie night, Juno is happy to be by your side.
Juno has wonderful house manners. He's fully house-trained, walks nicely on leash, and settles in beautifully at home. He's not destructive and enjoys having a cozy bed to relax on after a day of adventures. When he first saw his new bed and toys at his foster parents' house, he was so delighted he started rolling around on his back doing a little growly, happy chant. It's the most adorable thing ever.
Juno is a friendly, affectionate boy who loves being around people. He's eager to please, enjoys attention, and has a sweet, gentle personality that makes him an easy companion. He has also done well around other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine friend with a proper introduction.
Although the shelter estimated Juno was 6 years old, multiple veterinary professionals believe he's actually around 4 years old, giving him plenty of wonderful years ahead with his future family. He has the maturity of an adult dog with plenty of life and love still to share.
