Ruby

Meet Ruby! This one-year-old, 33-pound brindled beauty is the most lovable terrier! Her pictures truly don't do her justice. Ruby is such a joy to hang with and can put a smile on anyone's face! She's the perfect combination of curious and cuddly. Ruby so wants to please you, and when she looks up at you with those endearing eyes, you'll instantly want to make her part of your family.

Ruby loves to hang with her kennel mates in the yard and has a blast spending time with everyone she meets. She enjoys alternating her time between playing with her toys and plopping herself on the lap of the nearest volunteer so she doesn't miss a single pet. She's also proven to be very helpful in the office, overseeing computer work and sitting quietly on laps while volunteers work.

She recently went on an outing and had a great time! Ruby rides well in the car and enjoyed exploring the park. She's ready to hit the road with you anywhere you'd like to go!

Ruby is tolerant of handling, knows "sit," and takes her treats very gently. She also gives great kisses!

Ideal Home

Ruby would do best in an active home with adults or families with children ages eight and up. She may have the capacity to live in a home with other animals, and we are happy to arrange a meet-and-greet with your current pet.

Ongoing Health

Ruby is in good health.

Training & Support

As she is still a young lady, Ruby will benefit from continued training and daily exercise. A yard to enjoy in her new home would be ideal.
