Meet Gucci! This handsome black Lab has a resilient spirit and a whole lot of goofy puppy energy. Gucci's journey began when he was abandoned in New Mexico and then brought to Texas, where he received the care he needed for a second chance at life. He's a "work in progress" with a heart as big as Texas, and he's busy saving lives every day while he waits for his forever family.

Gucci would thrive with an active individual, couple, or family who enjoys games of fetch and is ready to guide a smart, loving dog through his teenage-at-heart phase.
Ongoing Health
Gucci is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, and has been spayed/neutered. He is also on flea and heartworm prevention and has been microchipped.
Training & Support
Gucci is an eager-to-please pup motivated by toys and treats, making training a fun and rewarding bonding experience. He is looking for a family committed to teaching him basic manners and continued training. Our team provides behavioral training and socialization through playgroups and one-on-one bonding, including leash training and basic commands, to prepare him for adoption. We aim to match him with a family who understands that he is a rescue dog and will require ongoing training efforts.

Transporation
Gucci is located in Texas and is available for transportation to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN, and OH. AZ transport is coming soon. Transport is provided in air-conditioned buses or vans with onboard attendants. You can follow your pet's journey on a private Facebook event page. Our Adoption Coordinator will help you find the closest transport pick-up location. For adopters picking up in Angleton, TX, there is a $75 fee. Texas adopters have a $250 flat rate fee for transportation within the state. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request with the adopter assuming financial responsibility.
