Hachi

Meet Hachi! This handsome fellow is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs about 50 lbs, though he's still working on gaining weight after years of being underfed. He's a total love bug with a gentle spirit and a genuine love for people. Hachi adores spending time with his humans, is wonderful with kids, and has never met a stranger he didn't want to be friends with. He's a big-time people person! Despite a past of living in an outdoor kennel and being rescued from a hoarding situation, Hachi's heart remained soft, and he truly treasures the simple things like belly rubs, a cozy bed, and quality time with family. He's a resilient guy who rides great in the car and would love to join you on adventures. Hachi is a medium-energy dog; he's always up for some fun but just as happy to relax next to you.

Ideal Home

Hachi is looking for a home where he's included, cherished, and loved. He does best with slow introductions to other dogs and tends to do better with confident pups, sometimes trying to play the "big tough guy" with more timid ones.

Ongoing Health

Hachi is still working on gaining weight to reach his ideal weight of around 60 lbs.

Training & Support

Hachi is crate trained and potty trained. He can be a bit of a "big tough guy" with more timid dogs during introductions, but once he trusts another pup, he's all in.

Transporation
