About Bea

Bea is a loving, playful, and affectionate 2 1/2-year-old girl who weighs about 40-45 lbs. She had a rough start, nearly being sent back to a shelter when a foster fell through at the last minute. Thankfully, a wonderful foster mom stepped up to give Bea her second chance. Now, Bea is showing her true colors and is eager to find her forever family. She gets along well with other pups, especially smaller dogs, but can be a little nervous around dogs her size or larger, so gradual introductions are recommended. Bea has also been doing phenomenally with her foster mom's grandchildren, ages 3 and 7. While Heelers can sometimes have a tendency to nip at heels due to their herding nature, Bea is absolutely adoring of children, and with gradual introductions as she settles in, she's sure to be a wonderful addition to a family. She is housebroken and crate trained.

Ideal Home

Bea would thrive in a home that understands her breed and can provide gentle guidance and introductions to other dogs, especially those her size or larger. She is great with children and loves to be part of the family.

Ongoing Health

Bea is spayed and vaccinated. No specific health conditions are mentioned.

Training & Support

Bea is housebroken and crate trained. As a herding breed, gradual introductions to new people and situations are recommended, especially concerning heel nipping, though she is already showing great promise with children.
