A little about them
Meet Hades, a large, lovable goofball who is equal parts silly wrestler and professional snuggler. Beneath his intimidating looks is an affectionate dog who wants to love and be loved.
Hades enjoys walks and playtime but is also happy being a couch potato. He loves wrestling, snuggling, shredding stuffies, and gnawing on Nylabones. He is crate trained, potty trained, and does not guard food or toys.
Ideal Home
Hades needs a calm, adult-only home as the only dog. He is affectionate and playful with people he trusts, warms up more quickly to women, and can learn to love men with time. He is sensitive to fearful energy and direct eye contact, and he is working through meeting new people and reactivity or overstimulation.
Hades has lived successfully with a cat, but his recent crate reactivity toward the cat means careful management is needed. He needs a dog-savvy foster or adopter who can offer calm leadership, structure, patience, and continued behavior support.
Ongoing Health
Hades does not like having his bottom handled and may growl during anal gland checks or hygiene care. Management and consent-based handling are important.
