Hades

Meet Hades, a large, lovable lug who's equal parts silly wrestler and professional snuggler. If intimidating looks scare you off—don't let them. Underneath is a goofy boy who just wants to love and be loved. He is incredibly loving once he feels safe and understood. If you're willing to look past his tough exterior and help him continue growing, Hades will reward you with devotion, laughs, and the best snuggles around.

Ideal Home

Hades needs a calm, adult-only environment. He does not do well with other dogs. While he has lived with a cat successfully, he has recently developed some crate reactivity toward the cat, so careful management is needed. He would thrive with a dog-savvy foster or adopter who can provide calm leadership, structure, and patience.

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions are mentioned, but he may growl during handling of his bottom, such as during anal gland checks or hygiene care. Consent-based handling is important.

Training & Support

Hades is crate trained and potty trained. He is working through challenges with meeting new people and reactivity/overstimulation. He is sensitive to fearful energy and direct eye contact. He warms up faster to women but does learn to love men too. He needs patience and potentially continued behavior support.
