Sadie

Sadie is a wonderful Shepski mix with a heart of gold and a spirit full of adventure! Embark testing revealed she also has Poodle, Collie, Australian Shepherd, and Beagle in her mix, making her a unique and special girl. She currently weighs around 40 pounds and is a true sweetheart who adores her people. Sadie's journey began last October when she and her owner were living in a van. A kind neighbor reached out, hoping to find a better life for Sadie, and she has truly blossomed since coming into care. She is a love bug who enjoys the company of her family, which includes two adults, an 89-year-old grandma, and children aged 6, 10, and 13. Sadie is crate-trained, has good obedience skills, and a strong desire to please. She absolutely loves to play fetch and has a particular fondness for water!

Ideal Home

Sadie is looking for a home where she can share her love and playful energy. She gets along well with other male dogs once she has had a chance to acclimate. Due to her strong prey drive, Sadie is not recommended for homes with small animals, including cats and poultry, even though she can be managed around them.

Ongoing Health

Sadie is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She received Canine Spectra 10 upon arrival.

Training & Support

Sadie is crate trained and has pretty good obedience skills. She loves to play fetch and is eager to please, which will make training a rewarding experience.
