Meet Motash!

Motash is a stunning brindle girl with a gentle heart and so much love to give. Beneath her soulful eyes and slender frame is a sweet, affectionate pup who simply wants to be close to her people. Give her a few moments (and a few pets), and she'll happily melt into your lap, rolling over for belly rubs like she's known you forever. She has been in a foster home since she was a little baby, so she still thinks she is a lap dog! She loves other dogs and enjoys playing, but because of her medical condition, she also needs plenty of quiet rest time afterward so she doesn't become too sore. She would love a companion who can play and help keep her company, but will also know when it's time to snuggle instead.

Ideal Home

Motash is the kind of dog who will thrive in a calm, loving home where cozy naps on the couch are just as important as short adventures outside. She needs a home with limited to no stairs, low-impact activity.

Ongoing Health

Motash has a complex congenital spinal and skeletal condition that affects her mobility and causes chronic pain. She takes daily pain medication and will likely need lifelong medical management and ongoing veterinary care. Her long-term prognosis is uncertain.

Training & Support

Motash is potty trained and crate trained. She enjoys leisurely walks, sniffing the world at her own pace. She needs an adopter who understands her special needs and knows when it's time to snuggle.
