Kona

Meet Kona, a 4-year-old neutered male Miniature Pinscher with striking chocolate and rust markings. He has a docked tail and cropped ears, standing at 15 inches tall and weighing 16.5 lbs. Kona is fully vetted and ready for his new adventure!

Kona's previous owner entered hospice care, and he was rescued from a shelter through a partnership with Berkeley Animal Care Services. He's now in a loving foster home, and he's made a wonderful impression! Kona is a gentle soul who appears to have been very well cared for. He can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but he quickly opens up once he feels safe and secure. Once you earn his trust, you'll find an incredibly affectionate and loyal companion who simply loves to be by your side.

Kona has a playful side and absolutely adores a game of fetch with his favorite tennis ball! While he's enthusiastic about chasing it, the retrieving part is still a work in progress – but he definitely thinks the game is more fun when you're involved!
