Zeus McGoose has ears that deserve their own fan club! Between those long, floppy ears, his beautiful golden-red locks, adorable freckles, and expressive forehead wrinkles, Zeus looks like he walked straight out of a storybook. He's sweet, fun, and easy to live with, striking a perfect balance of playful without being too energetic, and affectionate without being overly clingy. He's happy just being part of whatever you're doing, whether he's playing with his beloved squeaky toys, lounging in the sun, or hanging out with his people.
Zeus is approximately 2 years old, weighs around 28 lbs, and is likely a Cocker Spaniel mix. He is currently fostered in a home with several small dogs and has done wonderfully with them, enjoying backyard zoomies but also content doing his own thing. He hasn't been introduced to larger dogs yet, but we're happy to arrange a meet-and-greet. Zeus is a smart cookie who already knows how to sit, loves treats, and is eager to please, making training fun and rewarding. He is crate-trained and doing very well with potty training, with accidents being rare.
Ideal Home
Zeus would be happiest in a home with a backyard where he can play with his toys, zoom around, and sunbathe. He has wonderful potential to be an incredible family dog, especially for a family with older children looking for a goofy, toy-loving companion.
Ongoing Health
Zeus has no known health conditions. His adoption fee includes all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip.
Training & Support
Zeus is crate-trained and doing very well with potty training. He knows how to sit and is eager to please. We provide extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers to ensure a perfect fit for your family.

Transportation
Zeus is currently located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will be able to track your pet's journey in real time and receive photo updates. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
