Ricky

Meet Ricky! This handsome fellow is a graduate of our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive training experience where he learned routine obedience, agility, and handling skills from an inmate trainer. Ricky is eager to show off his impressive repertoire, which includes 'sit', 'wave', and 'pray'! Graduates of this program thrive with consistent reinforcement of their learned behaviors to ensure they become lifelong habits. Ricky is a big boy with an even bigger heart, and he absolutely adores people. He's a total goofball during playtime, especially when a Kong or ball is involved!

Ideal Home

Ricky would do best in a home that can provide consistent guidance and reinforcement for his training. He has done well with female dogs and has learned to play with most dogs (male and female) during his P.A.C.K. program. However, he hasn't always loved every male dog he's met, so any potential canine siblings will need to meet him beforehand. Ricky cannot live in a home with cats or livestock.

Ricky is a healthy boy ready for his forever home.

Training & Support

Ricky is still perfecting his leash manners and is making great progress with consistent guidance. He walks well with a Gentle Leader and his fosters use a harness. Continued training and reinforcement of his P.A.C.K. program skills will help him continue to succeed.
