July is an 8-year-old, spayed female Pitbull mix who weighs 59 pounds. She was rescued from euthanasia at a county shelter in Houston, Texas, and is currently in a foster home. July is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves to cuddle and be close to her people. She has a moderate energy level, enjoying a couple of walks a day and playtime with her toys, which often includes adorable zoomies.
Ideal Home
July would thrive in almost any home, whether it's an apartment or a house, as long as she has people to love and a cozy spot to snuggle. Her foster describes her as low-maintenance and affectionate, loving everyone she meets. While she has been friendly with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion, she's also content being the only pet. Due to her size and enthusiasm during zoomies, supervised play with very young children is recommended.
Ongoing Health
July is spayed and up-to-date on all her vaccinations.
Training & Support
July is fully house-trained and comfortable in a crate. She is generally non-destructive, but it's a good idea to keep shoes picked up to prevent any stray chews. She is eager to please and responds well to guidance. She would benefit from continued leash training.
