Fuego

Fuego is a handsome Dogue de Bordeaux mix who's back with us through no fault of his own. His family had to downsize and move out of state, and sadly, two of their three dogs, including Fuego and his housemate Rose (also available!), had to come to the shelter. This big, beefy guy has a lot of wonderful qualities! He's already crate trained and housebroken, and he's good with kids and other dogs. Fuego has a playful spirit; he enjoys a good romp, and then he's happy to relax with a big smile on his face. He does pull a bit on leash, but this is easily correctable with a little training. While Fuego can be a bit protective of his crate around strangers at home and exhibits some barrier aggression at the shelter, which can make him a bit shy during initial meetings, please don't let this deter you! Once he's out of his kennel, he's a true charmer and ready to show you his sweet side.

Ideal Home

Fuego would do well in a home with children and other dogs.

Fuego is neutered.

Training & Support

Fuego can be protective of his crate and shows some barrier aggression at the shelter. He pulls a bit on leash, but this can be easily corrected with training. He's already crate trained and housebroken!
