Lola Lox

Lola is an 8-year-old husky mix who ended up in a shelter due to changes in her family's situation. Before coming to us, she lived a full life, enjoying pup cups, shopping trips, community events, and even weekly hikes. For the past three months, Lola has been living with a foster family where she's learned to coexist well with other dogs. She's a great walking companion and is now ready to find her forever home after a recent dental cleaning.

Lola is a husky with a unique personality! She's full of "husky spice" but blossoms when she trusts you, revealing a lovable and often goofy side. She thrives with a predictable routine and enjoys food, ear scratches, playing with balls, and receiving kisses on the nose. Meeting new people gives her extra pep in her step. Lola enjoys outings and has been well-behaved at coffee shops, soccer games, and even the beach, where she remained calm with dogs running around. While she can be initially reserved around other dogs and prefers they don't invade her space, she can acclimate to a pack with proper introductions and space. She's a smart girl who responds well to leash corrections.

Ideal Home

A home that will give Lola the time and patience to open up and learn her "love language." She would do best in a home without cats.

Lola recently had a dental cleaning and is feeling great.

Training & Support

Lola is generally well-behaved but may need continued guidance on how to navigate interactions with pushy dogs. She responds well to leash corrections and enjoys being out and about.
