Cheesey Tango, or Tango as his friends call him, is a charming 50-pound pit bull born on August 23, 2023. He has a signature grin that earned him his "Cheesey" nickname and a graceful way of moving through life. Tango possesses a rare blend of steady confidence and quiet charisma, making him an athletic, alert, and energetic yet composed companion. He's the kind of dog who brings a sense of calm and stability to any household. Tango is observant and seems to naturally read the room, drawing people to him with his gentle presence.
He's a social and friendly fellow who enjoys the company of both people and other dogs, provided introductions are slow and respectful. In group settings, Tango remains calm, polite, and self-controlled, avoiding unnecessary drama. He recently completed a six-week obedience class, where he excelled at commands like sit, down, stay, heel, place, and leave it. Tango is highly food-motivated, making training a fun and engaging experience. He thrives on learning, enjoys having a purpose, and takes pride in doing things correctly, whether it's walking politely, settling down, or earning a tasty reward.
At home, Tango is easygoing. He loves his crate, readily entering it on cue. Once inside, he enjoys chewing on bones, Kongs, or his favorite toys. He's not destructive, respects his surroundings, and knows how to relax as the day winds down. Despite his composed exterior, Tango is a devoted cuddler who loves to be close to his people, offering quiet, grounding affection. He walks well on a leash, is fully potty and crate trained, and adapts to new environments with a brief period of observation. Tango has a medium energy level, happy to engage in walks and play, but equally content to relax and enjoy quiet moments.
Ideal Home
Tango would do best in a home that values structure, consistency, and clear communication, where expectations are steady and routines are predictable. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended to ensure the best fit for both Tango and the family.

Training & Support
Tango knows basic obedience commands and is eager to continue learning. His food motivation makes training enjoyable. He respects his space and settles well in his crate.
