Norma Jeane is a spunky and playful 8-ish year old, 10lb poodle girl who is as lively as they come! She certainly acts like a playful gal and her ideal day would consist of chasing a ball non-stop, with short breaks to nap. Norma lives for the ball and an adopter who wants to play fetch with her at least 4 times a day is required. She is wonderful with people and especially adores young children who are respectful around dogs. Norma is very sweet to other people, but she is not a cuddler. She wants to play with you or be independent. If you're looking for an awesome sidekick who is game for anything, then Norma is just what you're looking for. She has a medium energy level and would enjoy going along for the ride, whether in your arms or in a stroller. Once inside in the AC with a ball, it's game on! Norma has not exhibited any separation anxiety and is non-destructive when left to roam. She is great in the car and loves looking out the window. Norma lives with 3 other large dogs and coexists perfectly with them, acting as if they were not there. She would be fine living in a home with another dog, but she does not like super energetic dogs that get in her space. Another laid-back dog would be great, but she would also be perfectly content as a solo dog! Norma is just a wonderful, lively little pup who is looking for her BFF to do life with.
Ideal Home
An adopter who wants to play fetch with her at least 4 times a day is required. She adores young children who are respectful around dogs. She does not like super energetic dogs that get in her space.
Ongoing Health
Norma Jeane successfully completed heartworm injections. She was not spayed prior to injections because treating her heartworm was the priority. Wags will work with the adopter on an appropriate spay date prior to leaving our rescue.
Training & Support
Norma is not 100% potty trained. If a back door is left open, she will do her business outside. But, if you're not watching her and the door is closed, she might have an accident inside. She has not yet mastered the tell to her humans that she needs to potty. She does fine in her crate, so this is a great option when her human isn't home.
