Shelly

Meet Shelly! Shelly is a one-year-old, spayed female Staffie mix who currently weighs about 60lbs. She's an adorable ball of energy looking for an adventure buddy and a human to love! Shelly is always up for a hike or long walk and would probably be a great running partner. Once she's burned off that puppy energy, she's ready to snuggle and receive all the attention and belly rubs. She's a goofy girl who is working on her basic manners but learns quickly – she already knows "sit" and loves to give her paw for treats! Shelly is house-trained, letting you know when she has to go by tapping the door with her paw, and she does well in her kennel too!

Ideal Home

Shelly would thrive with an active adopter who enjoys hiking or running. Due to her excitement around new people, she would do best with older, dog-savvy children. Shelly lived with two male Mastiffs and did great, but she can be selective with female dogs. For this reason, we recommend Shelly be your one and only pet at this time. We have no information on how she would do with cats.

Shelly is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Shelly is house-trained and kennel-trained. She is a quick learner and knows "sit" and "shake."

Transporation

Shelly is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. She can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks.
