Goliath is a handsome, approximately 11-month-old Great Dane mix with a striking brindle coat. He came to us through no fault of his own, after his previous family experienced a difficult situation. He was being cared for by a veterinary family who had taken him in when his original home couldn't. At the vet home, he lived with teenagers and some small dogs who seem to have taught him great doggy social skills, as he's used to a lively environment. Unfortunately, medical issues arose for his caregivers, and they realized they no longer had the time to dedicate to a growing puppy like Goliath, who thrives on attention and love. They reached out to us to help him find a family who can give him the home he deserves. Goliath is a big boy with a heart full of fun and love, just waiting for his perfect match!
Ideal Home
Goliath would do best in a home that can provide him with plenty of love, attention, and space to grow. His previous foster home included teens and small dogs, indicating he may do well in a similar environment, though it's always best to assess each situation individually.
Ongoing Health
Goliath is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered. His adoption fee of $500 helps to cover his veterinary care in preparation for adoption.
Training & Support
Goliath is described as house-trained. He has experience living with other dogs and seems to have good dog language skills. As a young, large breed dog, continued positive reinforcement and consistent training will help him continue to grow into a well-mannered companion.
