Milton

Meet Milton, a charming 10-year-old, 6-7lb Yorkshire Terrier mix who is ready to steal your heart! Milton came to us from Irondequoit Animal Control and has already made himself right at home. This sweet senior gentleman is house-trained and loves his walks. His absolute favorite thing to do is snuggle up right next to his people.

Milton is tolerant of other dogs, but he would likely be happiest as the only canine in the home, where he can soak up all the attention. He can be a little shy with new people at first, showing a touch of "stranger danger," but once you pick him up, he quickly relaxes and enjoys the closeness. It turns out, the world is a lot less scary when you're being held!

Ideal Home

Milton would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention. While he is dog-tolerant, he would likely be happiest as the sole pet.

Ongoing Health

Milton is currently awaiting his neuter surgery and a much-needed dental cleaning. Once these procedures are complete, he will be officially ready for adoption.

Training & Support

Milton is already house-trained and enjoys his walks. He may be a little unsure of new people initially, but he blossoms with gentle reassurance and affection.
