Meet Axel Rose! This handsome 26lb Basenji/Terrier mix, estimated to be born around April 5, 2024, is looking for his forever family. Axel is a friendly boy who loves other dogs and enjoys making new canine friends. He has a unique way of saying hello, with excited barks that quickly turn into affectionate tail wags once he gets your attention. He loves to relax on the couch but also enjoys zoomies in the backyard. Axel was found abandoned in an empty apartment, but despite his past, he remains incredibly loving and trusting. He is kennel and potty trained and would benefit from a family willing to help him build confidence on walks. We don't know how he feels about cats yet, but he can be tested for interested adopters. Axel is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.
