Blue Bonnet

Bluebonnet is a sweet 3-year-old Beagle with a gentle soul. She was a participant in an animal drug research study and is now looking for her forever home. While many research animals adjust easily to home life, Bluebonnet is a bit timid and fearful of strangers. She needs a patient and understanding adopter who will allow her to build trust at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her soft and sweet nature shines through, making her an incredibly loving companion.

Ideal Home

Bluebonnet would thrive in a patient, gentle home where she can build trust at her own pace. She needs an adopter who understands her need for time and space to feel secure.

Ongoing Health

Bluebonnet has been examined by our veterinary team and is healthy and ready for adoption. She has received spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, all age-appropriate vaccinations, and flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She will also receive a complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption.

Training & Support

Bluebonnet can be timid and fearful of strangers, and her fear presents as avoidance and caution rather than aggression. She will need time and patience to adjust to her new surroundings and build trust. We are unable to guarantee if she is housebroken as we do not observe our animals in home settings.
