About 1162 Chaos
Chaos is fostered in McFarland, WI.
Chaos is approximately 1-2 year old red merle male mini aussie. He came into rescue from a horrible hoarding situation in which a former worker (for this breeder) alerted persons of the condition of animals on this property.
Chaos is a gentle, shy soul who is still learning how to dog. New things can be a little scary, and he takes time to build confidence. Once he trusts you, you'll discover one of the sweetest companions around. His entire little body wiggles when he's happy, excited, or sees one of his favorite humans.
If Chaos could choose his perfect day, it would involve a leash, a human, and a walk—long walks, short walks, neighborhood strolls, nature trails... he loves them all. He has excellent leash manners and is happiest exploring the world by your side. Chaos is still learning a lot of new things, new smells, and new sounds so he will do best in a household with that is on the quieter side, but yet patient and willing to help him learn to be a pampered pooch.
He's friendly, gentle, and is beginning to engage more with other dogs as his confidence grows. Chaos enjoys company and likes being near his people, though he's not quite a lap dog yet. Chaos is also a very tidy houseguest. He keeps his kennel neat and orderly and has had no accidents in the house or in his crate.
When it comes to meals, Chaos prefers to graze throughout the day, but offer one of his favorites and he'll happily clean his bowl. Like many young dogs, he enjoys chewing on toys and stuffed animals—fortunately, he usually leaves behind enough evidence to solve the mystery of where the pieces went
Chaos is house-trained, crate-trained, not very vocal, and ready to find a patient family willing to help him continue building confidence. In return, you'll get a loyal companion whose whole body lights up when he's happy and who simply wants to share life's adventures one walk at a time. He would do best in a physically fenced yard with no children under 10 years of age. If you're looking for a calm, gentle best friend, Chaos might just be your perfect match.
Chaos is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms. Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization. For more information on our adoption process or to complete an adoption application, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org.
NOTE: All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in. Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application. We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family. MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives. www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org
