Artimiss

Hi there! My name is Artimiss, and I'm a sweet 52-pound girl born on May 6, 2020. I'm a bit of a special lady, as I'm a tripod after a past injury. But don't worry, I'm not letting it slow me down! I came to Fayette County Animal Rescue with what the vet believed was a gunshot wound to my front leg, but I've healed up well and am ready to find my forever home. I love cuddles on the couch and sleeping soundly in my crate at night. I'm a true companion, always ready to make you smile!

Ideal Home

I'd love a home where I can truly be your lap-warmer and best friend! Because of my past, I can have a little trouble with stairs, but I do great with rugs and carpet. A securely fenced yard is a must for me to explore safely. I'm a bit particular about my doggy friends, so a slow introduction would be necessary. Also, I'm a little too interested in cats and small animals, so a home without them would be purr-fect!

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy girl, but my past injury is something to be aware of. I'm eligible for a senior dog adoption reimbursement program that can cover up to $300 per year for wellness exams, annual vaccinations, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

I'm a great girl who loves attention and snuggles. I sleep well in my crate and don't make a fuss when I'm relaxing. I'm still learning about being around other dogs, so patience and proper introductions will be key.
