Roger

Roger is a resilient two-year-old pittie mix with a heart full of love and a story of survival. He was rescued from a heartbreaking situation where he was confined in a hotel room crate with two other dogs. Despite his past, Roger remained gentle and kind, patiently waiting for his second chance. He was saved just in time from a euthanasia list at a local Orlando shelter. Shortly after being rescued, he was rushed to the ER for gastroenteritis and thankfully made a full recovery after receiving a week of care from a medical foster. His most recent bloodwork is clear, and he's now healthy, strong, and ready for a loving forever home. Roger adores people of all ages, including children, and is happiest when he's by his human's side. While he's shown potential with other dogs and has experience with them, he would do best as a solo dog for now or with very slow and careful introductions to new canine friends. This sweet, affectionate boy has overcome so much and is ready to experience the comfort and love he deserves.

Ideal Home

Roger loves people of all ages, including kids, and is happiest when he's around his humans. He would do best either as a solo dog or with slow, careful introductions to other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Roger has made a full recovery from gastroenteritis and his most recent bloodwork came back completely clear.
