About Dahlia Daisy Flower the MINI Lab

Fostered in Marysville, WA is Dahlia Daisy Flower, a delightful 10-month-old "itty bitty labbie pittie." She's a delicate and beautiful girl, weighing in at about 35 pounds with an expected adult weight of 40-45 pounds. Dahlia is a sweet and spirited pup who loves to start her day with a potty break and some zoomies, followed by a brisk walk. Her leash skills are almost perfect, with a minor distraction from squirrels! She adores hitting the trails and parks, making friends with everyone she meets, especially other dogs. Dahlia is a bit shy with new people but warms up quickly, showing her sweet and loving nature. She's also a natural water dog, happy to jump into any creek or river she finds, making her a fantastic companion for summer camping trips.

Dahlia enjoys resting by her foster mom's side during the workday and gets along beautifully with the four other dogs in her foster home, ranging from small to large. She thrives with other dogs and enjoys their companionship. One of her favorite pastimes is playing with pine cones and carrying around big sticks.

Ideal Home

Dahlia would thrive in a home with another playful dog where she can continue to socialize and enjoy canine companionship. She would also be happy with regular visits to doggy daycare if her people work outside the home full-time. While she can adapt to a dog-friendly apartment or condo, she requires plenty of exercise. Dahlia has not been tested with cats or children, but we believe she would do well with respectful children aged 8 and up.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia is up-to-date on all her vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. She is spayed and microchipped.

Training & Support

Dahlia is crate and house-trained. She may cry in her crate when initially left alone, but she does settle down. This is something to consider for homes with shared walls. It's expected that her crate routine will need to be re-established in her new home, though she eventually dreams of sharing the bed with her humans.
