Malbu is a joyful 3-year-old, 12lb male Maltese mix who is ready to fill your home with love! Despite a challenging start in life, Malbu has a heart full of trust and affection for everyone he meets. He's already settling in wonderfully in his foster home and is eager to find his forever family. Malbu enjoys his daily walks and trips to the dog park, showing a good pace with his leash training. He's also crate-trained and doing well with house training, making him a great candidate for many homes. Malbu’s rescue story highlights the dedication of animal lovers who couldn't bear to leave him on the streets, and now he's waiting for a loving home where he'll never be left behind again.

Ideal Home

Malbu would thrive in a home that offers both quiet and active environments. He is friendly with strangers, good with children of all ages, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats.

Ongoing Health

Malbu has been neutered, microchipped, and is up-to-date on vaccinations, including his rabies shot. He has tested negative for common diseases and is on monthly preventative care for heartworm and fleas/ticks.

Training & Support

Malbu is doing well with leash training, is crate-trained, and is house-trained. He has no known food aggression and has never bitten anyone.
