About Brie

Brie is a stunning, approximately 3-year-old livestock guardian breed who weighs just over 60 pounds. She has overcome a difficult past, transforming from a dog in poor health to a beautiful and resilient companion. Brie is an independent thinker, deeply loyal, and naturally protective. She prefers to observe new people from a distance before offering her trust, but once she does, she's a devoted friend for life. She generally gets along well with other dogs, especially with slow introductions, and can relax once she knows they are friendly. However, she would be happiest as the only pet, particularly for adopters who cannot meet her in person beforehand.

Ideal Home

Brie would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore the outdoors while still being an integral part of the family indoors. She is not looking for an outdoor-only home. Ideally, her adopters would have experience with livestock guardian breeds or be eager to learn about their unique qualities. A home with older children who understand respectful dog interactions would be best.

Ongoing Health

Brie was previously heartworm positive and has since been treated. All our dogs are vetted by a licensed veterinarian, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations before transport.

Training & Support

Brie is new to living indoors but has shown great promise in her kennel, keeping her space clean and not destroying her bedding. With patience and consistency, she is expected to adjust well to home life. Her independent nature means she may require guidance on boundaries and house rules.
